I wasn't sure how to organize this, so I borrowed something from one of my fave books on learning, Yana Weinstein and Megan Sumeracki's Understanding How We Learn. If you're going to read just one book on learning, this is a good choice. The authors are part of The Learning Scientists, a group of "cognitive psychological scientists interested in research on education." They do good work(s).
